I hate when people excuse old people for being racist by saying “they grew up during a different time” or “it’s how they were raised.” they’ve been around for decades longer than us and they’ve seen how things have changed. they know that behavior is wrong and they still continue to say racist things. being old doesn’t excuse you for being a racist asshole
